Our Story
We are John and Tammy Gagnon and Pedal Pops Ice Cream is our family-run business.
Our name was hand-picked by our granddaughter, Hailey, and our logo tells our family story: TJ the Bear represents Tammy and John, while the children represent our beloved grandchildren. We don't just sell treats; we create opportunities for neighbors to share stories and make new memories.
It all started in May 2022 with a joke and a single ice cream bike. When Tammy found that first vintage bike for sale, she jokingly suggested I buy it. I figured it might be a fun way to make a few extra dollars—I didn’t realize it was the start of a brand-new adventure.
What began as a whim quickly turned into something much bigger. Our community’s love for that first bike was immediate, and by the end of our first year, we had grown to three. By 2025, our fleet expanded to ten bikes and a pushcart.
Today, we’re more than just an ice cream business; we’re a bridge to the past. Every day, we meet people who share stories of their own childhood rides from thirty years ago.
We’re proud to keep that nostalgia alive, one scoop at a time.
